Review process
The process of reviewing articles for all scientific publications in the world is of particular importance in order to protect and improve the validity of scientific efforts. The process of reviewing the knowledge of governance journal includes equal and double-blind refereeing, meaning that the authors and referees have no knowledge of each other's identity.
Each initial manuscript submitted to the journal is reviewed by at least 2 independent reviewers. Before starting the scientific evaluation by the referees, all the original manuscripts are checked to prevent plagiarism.
In this regard, the process of publishing articles is as follows:
1- Authors' articles are only received through the system. (Articles sent by email will not be reviewed)
2- It is mandatory to send two files
A) Authors profile file,
- The title of the article, the profile file of the author/authors includes: the names of the author/authors in order of priority and with full details and specifying the responsible author (it is necessary to explain that the first author and the responsible author must enter their orchid code) in Farsi and English.
Example: academic rank (faculty members)/ doctorate/ senior expert/ doctoral student/ senior student, academic department/ field of study, name of university/ institution, place of employment, city, Iran.
(note that the information of the author/authors must be completed in Farsi and English)
- In front of the name of the responsible author, the words "Corresponding Author" should be written and in English "Corresponding Author". Academic rank, specialty, name of the university/institution of the place of employment and full contact information for the responsible author should be written including: postal address, telephone number (combined and landline) and e-mail.
b) The original file of the article:
Title of the article, abstract (Persian and English), keyword (Persian and English), introduction (statement of the topic, purpose and necessity), text (research background, questions and hypothesis, research method and theoretical framework, definition of concepts and Variables, statistical community or scope of research, data analysis and research findings) ← ˑ Conclusion and policy suggestions ← ˑ Bibliography (Persian and English sources as well as translations of Persian sources into English with links to articles)In addition to sending the authors' profile file, it is necessary to enter the information of all the authors in the system in the authors section.
3- After registering and sending the file to the journal's system, the editorial team of the journal will review it initially. The duration of initial review of the article is 2 weeks from the date of registration of the article by the author.
4- If the article has the basic conditions necessary for the judging process, it will be sent to the relevant judges so that the matching and double-blind judging process can be done. Otherwise, it will be returned to the authors to place the article in the system according to the authors' guide, and if it is not related to the publication in terms of content, it will be rejected.
5- An article that is sent for judging, after the completion of the judging process, a decision is made as one of the following options:
acceptable
Detailed / general revision
unacceptable
6- The articles that get the necessary quorum in the evaluation of the judges will be reviewed and re-evaluated according to the policies of the publication in the meeting of the editor and the editorial board of the quarterly.
7- The certificate of acceptance of the article will be presented to the authors after its approval by the members of the group of teachers in the editorial board meeting. Otherwise, despite the approval of the referees, the article lacks the necessary criteria for publication and is considered rejected.
It is necessary to explain that if the article reaches the stage of publishing and printing, the authors have the necessary cooperation with the editorial team of the publication.
8- The review and evaluation of each received article is a three-to-six-month process, which may take up to 8 months, including the acceptance, printing, and publishing process.
Receiving the cost of refereeing and publishing the article
Referring to the letter No. 40879 of the Scientific Publications Commission of the country dated 1401/02/24regarding the possibility of receiving fees from the authors of the articles, it informs that the total cost of refereeing and publishing each article in the Journal of Knowledge of Governance is estimated at 15,000,000 Rials. In order to support the development of governance knowledge and facilitate the possibility of publishing the achievements of respected researchers, a part of the expenses has been provided with the support of the Foundation for Social Excellence of Life, and the respected researchers will only deposit 3,000,000 Rials in the form of supporting the publication of the journal. It should be noted that this amount will be received when the article is sent to the publication.
